Nanoscribe’s IPX-Clear is a cutting-edge photoresin designed for additive manufacturing of high-performance microoptical components. Developed for 3D printing by 2GL®, it delivers outstanding transmission across the entire visible spectrum, ensuring minimal light loss and exceptional optical performance. IPX-Clear supports the manufacturing of optics at various scales, from micrometer parts with intricate small features to millimeter-sized optical components, providing a flexible and efficient solution for a variety of optical requirements.
With its exceptionally low surface roughness (Ra < 10 nm) and high shape accuracy (Sa < 200 nm), IPX-Clear is ideally suited for photonics applications.

IPX-Clear is the ideal resin for optics, outperforming all other resins we’ve tested regarding transparency and shape accuracy, while matching or exceeding their long-term stability.

Unmatched transmission with IPX-Clear

With over 98% transmittance across the 400–900 nm range and more than 95% transmittance in the 350–400 nm range (at a 250 µm sample thickness), it provides outstanding transparency throughout the visible spectrum and into neighboring spectral regions such as UV-A and near-infrared. This makes IPX-Clear an excellent choice for a wide variety of optical applications, including imaging, sensing, and display technologies. By expanding the range of materials available for Nanoscribe systems, IPX-Clear sets a new benchmark for achieving high transmittance and minimal light loss in microoptical components.
