Introduction of industry-proven Nanoscribe Quantum X product line
Nanoscribe Quantum X shape is the fastest and most accurate 3D printer in class for setting new standards in 3D Microfabrication. Visitors at Formnext will have the unique opportunity to get to know the Quantum X shape in 15-minute short demo sessions at the Nanoscribe booth. The 3D printer is the second microfabrication system in Nanoscribe’s industry-proven Quantum X product line next to the maskless lithography system Quantum X. The two years ago launched Quantum X combines the extraordinary performance of grayscale lithography with the precision and flexibility of Nanoscribe’s pioneering 2PP technology. The proprietary Two-Photon Grayscale Lithography (2GL ®) paves the way for advanced microfabrication of 2.5D free-form microoptics, microlens arrays and multi-level diffractive optical elements.
Scaling up microfabrication – Wafer-scale batch processing, mastering and replication
Both microfabrication systems can be easily integrated into industrial manufacturing processes. In particular, mastering and replication is a promising approach for fast and accurate fabrication of microlenses and microoptical elements in microoptics manufacturing. With nanoimprint lithography (NIL) and injection molding (IM), there are two reliable and proven replication strategies. Another highlight besides the demo sessions at the Nanoscribe booth will be 15-minute short presentations together with EV Group and kdg Opticomp to introduce both replication approaches and the process chain starting with Quantum X manufactured microoptics.
